Latest News, Inauguration of Civil Servants 2020 Conducted Through Teleconference

Jakarta - The  Head of the National Civil Service Agency ( BKN ) issues Circular Letter (SE) Number 10 / SE / IV / 2020 about the inauguration and taking of oaths or promises of Civil Servants alias  PNS  through electronic media such as teleconferences. This circular applies to the status of certain state of emergency disaster epidemics due to Corona virus  . 

With the issuance of the SE which was signed on April 2, 2020 electronically by the Head of BKN, Bima Haria Wibisana, government agencies are allowed to make inaugurations and take oaths or promises of civil servants through electronic media or teleconferences.

"The presence of the SE is expected to be a guideline for taking oaths or promises, both oaths and promises of CPNS to become civil servants as well as the inauguration and taking of oaths or appointments to administrators, supervisors, functional, and high leadership during the Coronavirus Disease outbreak in 2019 (Covid-19) ), "Said BKN Public Relations Bureau Chief of Staff, Paryono, quoted from the official page of the Cabinet Secretariat, setkab.go.id, Saturday, April 4, 2020.

This Circular, said Paryono, arranged the arrangement of the event, the parties present, as well as the stages of the inauguration and taking of oaths / promises of office. "In addition, the SE regulates the provisions of parties who must be physically present and be able to attend the inauguration virtually," he said

For those who were physically present, Paryono continued, it was regulated to a minimum and continued to pay attention to the concept of maintaining physical alias alias distance and health protocols in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak.

Paryono also ensured that the compilation of the SE refers to the provisions of the statutory regulations governing the inauguration and taking of oaths / promises of civil servants. "The rules apply until the end of the Status Period of Certain Disasters Emergency Disease due to  Corona Virus  determined by the Government," he said.
